This walk was intended as a final training walk before I attempted the Welsh 3000’s (which I went on to fail). The idea was to have a good look at Elidir Fawr to see if I could see a better (less steep) descent route from the top. I started the walk at the Cae Gwynn campsite in Nant Peris.

The prominence is 130m/427ft.
